History:

Carne Links golf course was first opened in 1992 and can be found in the tranquil seaside town of Belmullet, County Mayo,  Ireland. County Mayo is home to more than 10 golf courses, making it an ideal destination for any keen golfer, and although it is not often the first place you’d think of for golf in Ireland, many who have visited have named it Ireland’s golfing gem. The course was designed by the late Eddie Hackett, the celebrated Irish golf course architect, and it is often described as his crowning achievement.

The 18 hole Championship course has a par of 72 which twists and turns over 6119m of stunning landscape, with each nine eventually finding its way to the clubhouse. The area boasts some of the largest dunes of any golf course, and fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
