History:

As the oldest club in Ireland heritage and tradition are bywords at the Royal Belfast Golf Club. The magnificent former manor house has golfing history throughout; from an Old Tom Morris driver to an original scarlet  golfing coat worn by a founding member.

The course was designed by Harry Colt, who routed holes over the rolling parkland in a manner that is very easy on the eye. The course is meticulously maintained with established trees, lush fairways, impeccable greens and gorse providing a colourful backdrop in spring. Always providing a true test of golfing skill in one of the loveliest settings in Ireland, with unrivalled views over Belfast Lough and the Antrim plateau beyond.
